What this is

PULL YA HEAD IN is a general consumer self-management tool for interrupting an impulse and getting back to everyday life. It is not medical care, not a diagnosis or monitoring tool, and not a treatment for addiction, ADHD or any other condition. It does not replace a doctor, therapist, support service or emergency help, and it cannot keep anyone safe. Nothing here is a promise about results.

What is stored, and where

Everything you enter is written to your browser's local storage on this device: your reasons and photos, jobs and goals, saved songs, backup contact details, any Clear-Headed Me text or voice recording, the moments you log, your settings, and a short list of recently used wording so it does not repeat itself. There are no accounts, no profiles, no analytics, no advertising or tracking code, and nothing is uploaded to us. Local storage is not encrypted and is not confidential clinical record-keeping — anyone who can unlock this device can open it.

• — Loading the app itself makes ordinary web requests to the hosting provider, which sees standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type. Your logged content is not part of those requests.
• — Fonts are loaded from Google's font service, so that service sees the same kind of standard technical request. This may involve servers outside Australia.
• — If you paste a Spotify or YouTube link for a rescue song, that link is sent to Spotify or YouTube so the track title can be shown. Playing a song opens their app or site, where their own terms and privacy notices apply.
• — Calling a support number or messaging your backup person uses your phone's own dialler, messaging or share sheet. You press send; we never send anything for you.

Backup person

Adding a backup person is optional and you do it yourself. Nothing is sent unless you press send, what the message includes is your choice, the craving category is off by default, and there is no location sharing, no dashboard and no monitoring of you by anyone.

Terms — prototype

This is a prototype provided as-is for personal use. Use your own judgement; you remain responsible for your decisions and for your own safety. In an emergency, if someone has overdosed, or if you are thinking about ending your life, call 000. Stopping heavy alcohol or benzodiazepine use suddenly can be dangerous and may need medical supervision — speak to a doctor. Do not use suggestions here while driving or operating machinery, at heights, or in any situation where being distracted or impaired is unsafe.
